How to sew a metal zipper

How to sew a zipper on the shelf of a blouse

Lay the zipper with the lower side on the left shelf so that the cloves lie at a distance of 2 mm from the marked line for attaching the zipper. Tighten the upper end of the tape. Baste the left braid of the zipper. Place the bead on a shelf and sew to the edge (1), grabbing the braid of the zipper.

Open the zipper. Paste the second braid of lightning with the top side down on board so that the teeth lie along the marked line of the seam on the part, and the braid on the allowances for the seams. Tighten the upper end of the tape. Board the board (with the help of a special presser foot of the machine) along the marked seam line on the lightning braid. Leave the zipper on the front of the fabric (2).
Stitch the face-to-face collar with zippers on the braid, sew along the seamy side of the blouse - with the zipper just into the stitch of the zipper. Wrap the inside inward. Zipper teeth protrude beyond the edges of the bead (3). Iron the edges.Stitch the zipper under the sleeve cut.
On the lower part of the sleeve, allowances along the cut under the zipper in the upper corner are incised obliquely. Iron allowances along the cut inward (4).
Slice the edges of the cut close to the cloves onto the braid of the zipper. Sew to edge (5) using the special foot on the sewing machine.
Place the upper part of the sleeve face to face on the lower part of the sleeve, execute the elbow seam of the sleeve, then pierce the upper part of the sleeve on the second braid of the zipper. Sew the seam (6) using the special foot of the sewing machine. Iron seam allowances on top of sleeve.

Matik zipper on the skirt

The sports detail on the skirt is a metal zipper, stitched so that the cloves are visible.
Mark on the front and back panels of the skirt on the left side sections of the edge of the section at a distance of 5 mm from the marked line of the side seam. Iron a small piece of gasket on the lower end of the cut. Run the left side seam from the lower edge to the upper, not reaching about 1 cm to the top mark of the cut. Cut allowances along the cut at a distance of 1 cm from the marked line, including at the lower end. At the end of the incision, make incisions obliquely into the corners (8).
First iron inward allowances along the long sides of the cut, then iron in allowances along the side seam. Finally, iron a small triangle at the lower end of the cut.
Cut the edges of the cut along the teeth of the zipper onto the braid of the zipper and sew to the edge (9) using the special foot of the sewing machine.
