I am pleased to show how to sew “quick” trousers for the summer.

Necessary materials:
Fabric (linen) 1.20 m with a width of 1.40 m, an elastic band 2 cm wide and half the circumference of your waist, matching the color of the thread.

Cut it.
Cutting trousers is very easy. Take the fabric, fold in half along the shared thread. We take our favorite pattern of trousers, which we will need to cut out the sciatic stitches. We lay out the pattern in such a way that the sciatic sutures are obtained as in Figure 1. Accordingly, we observe the position of the shared thread on the pattern. Do not forget to leave the increase in the seams in all sections. In the upper part of the trousers, in the waist area, I recommend making an increase of at least 5 cm on the seams. It is also necessary to carve 2 strips for the braid, 2 cm wide and long along the width of the main fabric.
Picture 1.
This option for cutting trousers is suitable for girls with hips up to 98 cm. If the hips are larger, then it is necessary to take the fabric on two lengths of trousers.
Sewing.
We fold the strips of fabric cut for the braid in half and sew them, tucking the slices inside. The width of the strip in the finished form is about 0.7 cm.
We combine the corresponding marks with each other and make step seams from mark 1 to mark 2. Then, we put one leg in another and make a sciatic stitch. We turn it on the front side and see that we just got huge "pants" as in Figure 2. But this does not bother us, since work on them has not yet been completed.
Figure 2
We turn the seam allowances around the waist to the seamy side and sew on, leaving the area in the middle part of the back half of the trousers to open the elastic band open.
On the back half of the trousers, from the middle seam, we mark equal segments on both sides with the length calculated according to the formula = (hip circumference / 2) + 5 cm) / 2. For example, with a hip circumference of 96 cm, the calculation will be as follows: (96/2 + 5cm) / 2 = 26.5 cm. Set aside and mark on the fabric on both sides of the middle back seam 26.5 cm. Between these marks we insert an elastic band, pulling it to such an extent that these marks fall on the middle of the sides.
We are trying on the trousers. We combine the front and back halves of the trousers in the area of the waist, cleave and outline the seams for sewing the halves. Stitch the halves of the trousers along the marks 5 cm wide along the sides. Try on pants. We see that in the area of the waist (from the sides) there was free tissue, and we got “wings”, to the middle parts, which we sew in advance
fabric braids prepared by us. Wrap the braid around the waist, going down to the hips, tie a braid to the bow. Your trousers are ready. It remains only to choose the right top, shoes and accessories for them.
I also stitched my linen trousers so that the side “wings” would not stick out. These delays are clearly visible in the photo.
