Whether you are engaged in a gym or outdoors, a bag is always useful in which it is convenient to wear clothes, a towel and, of course, a yoga mat.
The mat is attached to the bag from the outside with an adjustable handle with buckles.
You will need:
- double-faced fabric
- flizofiks
- threads
- ironer
- scissors and zigzag scissors
- tailor pins
- pencil
- needles for metallized threads
- ruler
- metal buckles
- flower pattern
Step 1
Cut out the details of the bag (1 cm allowances are already taken into account in the sizes):
2x gray 25 x 50 cm;
1x pink 30 x 45;
2 handles 105 x 4 cm each;
4 handles of 14 x 4 cm;
2x handles of 126 x 4 cm.
Step 2
For a lotus flower, iron a flap of fabric of approx. 20 x 13 cm. If necessary, use an iron.
Step 3
Draw a flower template on a piece of paper, cut it out and transfer to flizofiks. Flower cut.
Step 4
Position the flower in the middle of the bottom of the bag and iron. Stitch the flower in all contours with a zigzag, using metallized threads.
Step 5
Fold two parts of each handle together with the pink side inwards and grind the longitudinal sections at a distance of 1 cm. Turn out the handles.
Step 6
Delay each handle along the longitudinal edges at a distance of 5 mm.
Step 7
Pass one end of each short handle (length 14 cm) through the buckle and stitch it.
Step 8
Make two transverse seams of the bag, while fixing the handles: at the bottom bottom - short handles with buckles, at the back - a handle 105 cm long.
Step 9
Turn each end of the 126 cm long handle first on one side, then on the other and stitch. Pin the handle to the bag and stitch it at the top, laying the lines crosswise for greater strength.
Step 10
Run side seams of the bag. Unscrew the upper section of the bag to the wrong side to a width of 6 cm and grind along the contour at a distance of 5 mm. Cut off all seam allowances with zigzag scissors or overcast on overlock.
