• 4 rectangular pieces of 16 x 13 cm and 1 square piece of 14 x 14 cm in cotton
• adhesive tape 5 m

How to sew a cover for a sewing machine

Step 1

Measure the sewing machine: height B, depth A and length C.

Step 2

Cut out the parts from the flannel and nonwoven of the volumenfliz according to the drawing (see the diagram), adding 1 cm to the allowances to the dimensions.

Step 3

On the wrong side of the cover part, apply non-woven volumenfliz. Detail quilting on a sewing machine diagonally at 3 cm intervals.

Step 4

Fold the part with its face inward, make side and then transverse seams so that the part takes the form of a cover.

Step 5

To turn out a ready cover. Cut a hole for the handle. Slicate the holes of the hole with adhesive tape, stitching it around the perimeter.

How to sew a basket of cotton

A small basket, edged with adhesive tape at the top, is perfect for storing a pedal from a sewing machine.

Step 1

Measure the foot pedal of the sewing machine: height and width.

Step 2

Cut 4 rectangles (sides / height) and a square with sides of 16 cm (bottom / width).

Step 3

Fold the rectangles in half along the wrong side inwards and iron them.

Step 4

Stitch the rectangles with each other in short cuts, closing in a ring. Insert along the edges (bends) of the sides with the front side to the front side and grind the bottom to form 4 corners.
