The inside pockets are quite diverse in design. A welt pocket framed in a coat or jacket can not only fulfill its main function, but add chic to the finished product.
Before you make inside pockets, you need to duplicate the overboard coat, prepare the lining shelf and connect it to the pick.
How to make a pocket with a trimmed barrel: master class
This master class presents a figured collar with a section from the main fabric under the pocket. But it is possible to make a collar of the usual form, while the pocket can go on the collar, and can only remain on the lining.
For one pocket you will need:
- 2 edging ~ 18 * 3-4 cm;
- an eyelet for a loop ~ 17 * 3-4 cm;
- whole-cut burlap ~ 18 * 36 cm;
- a button with a diameter of 1-1.5 cm;
- adhesive doublerin.
Step 1
Mark the place of the pocket on the lining of the shelf, duplicate it from the inside. In this case, the pocket frame is 14 * 2 cm.
Step 2
Duplicate the pocket lining, fold it along the front side out and iron it, fold the fabric allowances inward, fold the fabric along and sewn at a distance of 1 mm, form a loop about 6 cm long.

Step 3
Apply one stitch with a fold down the seam line to the stitching place on the front side, lay the burlap on top. Lay the stitch 1 cm from the fold.
Step 4
To the top of the entrance to the pocket, put the second edge with the fold up, and in the middle - a loop. Lay the stitch 1 cm from the fold.
Step 5
Cut the pocket entry area between the seams, cut the ends of the seams obliquely to the corners of the future pocket, not reaching 1 mm to the ends of the stitches.
Step 6
Undo the sacking with burlap and the suture with a loop with slices inside out, sweep and iron.

Step 7
Pin the free edge of the one-piece burlap pocket and then grind it to the seam allowance of the upper seam in the seam.
Step 8
Chip off pins and grind open lateral sections of the burlap, starting from one end of the seam of the upper hemming and ending at the fold of the burlap from the bottom, while seizing the ends of the hem and small triangles from the sides of the pocket frame.
