Love original denim accessories? Then our simple and non-trivial master class on decorating finished jeans pockets is just what you need!
Old jeans are good in that they can be almost completely used for remaking, to create something new and interesting. From jeans pockets you can make a la brooch and decorate it with a plain pullover or skirt, white dress shirt or blouse.
For decor with denim pockets of a plain pullover or white blouse, you will need:
✽ Old jeans
✽ Safety pins of different sizes
✽ Scissors
✽ Spreader
✽ Needle
✽ Threads for sewing and stitching

Step 1
Open your pockets from old jeans.
Step 2
Cut pocket sections on an overlock or zigzag stitch.
Step 3
Delay the pockets (if the factory edge is not preserved) around the perimeter. Or, hand sew a seam allowance on the wrong side of the pocket.
Step 4
Place pockets on the pullover and shirt on the right or left side traditionally or turn it over.
Step 5
Use safety pins to fasten the jeans pocket on the product. First pin the pins along the edges of the pocket, then along its entire surface in a chaotic manner.
Tip
Use loops from old jeans as decorative mini epaulets, for example, on a pullover.Sew them along the shoulder seams by hand and additionally decorate with suitable buttons.

For decor with denim pockets of a plain skirt, you will need:
✽ Old jeans
✽ Safety pins of different sizes
✽ Scissors
✽ Spreader
✽ Needle
✽ Threads for sewing and stitching
✽ Brooches of different sizes
Step 1
Open your pockets from old jeans.
Step 2
Cut pocket sections on an overlock or zigzag stitch.
Step 3
Postpone your pockets (if the factory edge is not preserved). Or, hand sew a seam allowance on the wrong side of the pocket.

Step 4
Lay the skirt on a flat surface and select the location of the jeans pocket on it.
Step 5
With safety pins, lock the pocket in the position you like.
Step 6
Lay out the brooches on the jeans pocket in the order that you think will be as harmonious as possible. Take a picture.
Step 7
Put on a skirt and make sure that the selected pocket location suits you.
Now you can pin brooches. Remove or leave retaining pins.
