The pleasant aroma from clothes and linen always lifts the mood and gives a feeling of cleanliness and freshness.
Veta capsuleEven if you use a very good washing powder and high-quality conditioner, a fragrant fragrance can weather things quickly enough, especially if they are in the closet for a long time.
We make the perfect wardrobe: the rule of the pyramid
There are several ways to make things in your cabinets and chests always smell good, literally soaking in your favorite scents.
Method 1. Aromatic sachets
Food52One of the most popular options, but many of its shortcomings are called the fragility of the sachets and the need for their frequent replacement.
Such sachets can be bought in stores - they can contain both dry aromatic herbs and flavoring, or just a synthetic flavoring. If you prefer natural aromas, you can sew the sachets yourself, especially since in this case you can make a bouquet of aromas with your own hands.

Method 2. Essential Oils
MetaefficientThe healing properties of essential oils have been known since ancient times, because each smell in its own way affects our nervous system and health in general. If you have your favorite aromas of essential oils, it’s a sin not to use them to scent things in your closet. There are several recipes for this:
1. Put 5-7 drops of your favorite essential oil (or a mixture of oils) on a cotton ball and place it in a plastic bag with small holes. Put a few of these bags in your linen drawers and wardrobes.
2. You can use a spray bottle, pouring pure water into it and adding essential oils at the rate of 15-30 drops per 1 liter of water. Then spray this mixture on linen or clothing if you are sure that there will be no residue on the fabrics. On delicate fabrics, such as silk, it is better not to spray such a mixture. If in doubt, it is better to spray on the walls of the cabinet.
3. To flavor clothes and clothes, you can use an alcohol mixture: for 10 ml of alcohol, add 6-8 drops of essential oil. Pour the resulting mixture into a stable bottle and place without closing the lid in the corner of the cabinet so that it does not tip over (therefore, it is better to choose square bottles that fit well into the corner).

Method 3. Fragrant Soap
lovelypackageMany people use this method, because it is extremely simple and quite effective. You will need soap, but not any, but fragrant, with a strong and vibrant perfume composition that you like.
Take the soap out of the package and put it in a muslin bag (so that the soap does not stain things). One whetstone is unlikely to be enough for the whole cabinet, so lay out a few so that things are probably saturated with its aroma.
Instead of soap, some use scented candles, but, as a rule, their smell is weaker and less persistent.

Method 4. Perfume Bottle
Luigi BormioliIf you still have an empty bottle from under your favorite perfumes, do not throw it away, but put it in a box with linen, without covering the bottle with a lid. This method is more suitable for boxes, and not for cabinets, because one bottle is not enough for a large area.
Method 5. Vanilla
pinterestTo make things smell pleasant in the closet, you can use one almost culinary trick that will suit those who love the aroma of vanilla. An open bag of vanillin will fill a whole cupboard with a sweet smell.
Method 6. Dried Fruits
Food52A rather aromatic and completely environmentally friendly way of flavoring cabinets is with bags of dried slices of citrus fruit: dried peels of mandarin, orange, lemon or grapefruit. The aroma will not be so strong, but from the closet it will be pleasant to smell of freshness.
