Variegated color prints from the 90s conquer not only the world's catwalks, but also the hearts of fashionistas. Therefore, the technique in the style of batik is again relevant. Add a hippie touch to plain things with batik.

Important!

If you want to sew the product first and then dye it using the batik technique, then in this case, use only cotton sewing threads, since the polyester threads are not dyed, or dyed unevenly.

You will need:

- white cotton fabric;

- a plastic box;

- grid;

- paint on the fabric;

- paint fixer;

- gloves;

- plastic substrate;

- ice cubes

How to mask stains in a natural silk product

Step 1

Put the plastic box with the net on the backing. Tie a knot of fabric and lay it on a grid.

Step 2

Cover the fabric completely with ice cubes.

Step 3

Wear gloves and gently sprinkle textile dye on top of the cubes.

Pareo for the beach: dye your own fabric

Step 4

Leave it on for at least 12 hours until the ice cubes have completely melted and the paint has dissolved.

Step 5

Rinse the fabric in cold water, and then wash it in a washing machine with a paint-fixing agent.

Now, fabric can be sewn from batik-style fabric.
