Not the most common option for using an unnecessary pair of jeans - for hauling a chair seat. If you take pants from bright denim, the chair can become a color accent of the interior!

For this project, the main thing is to choose jeans, firstly, of a suitable size, and secondly, they are strong enough, not worn back and from the inside of the legs (these parts will go to the waist). You can take pants from ordinary classic denim, and stretch jeans. For work on the sewing machine it is better to take a denim needle.

Wicker basket of old jeans: a master class

Step 1

Remove the chair seat.

Step 2

Remove the old upholstery.

Step 2

Using the seat as a template, roughly determine the size of the part you need for the banner. Cut off the legs. Cut jeans at the side seams and at the step seams. Use the back of the trousers. Cut one of the cut legs along the side seam and use to complement the missing triangle.

Step 3

Attach the resulting part to the seat with a furniture stapler. Fasten the seat - done.
