“Roses and violets delicately embroidered on delicate lace look like morning dew,” says Blumarine designer Anna Molinari, and it's hard to disagree with.

To the question of what was the inspiration for the new collection, Anna Molinari answered only: “I love the paintings of the Impressionists,” but this answer is quite enough to catch the mood.
The Blumarine girl in the new season will resemble a stranger, as if descended from Claude Monet’s canvases: the delicate tones of pink, yellow, and cream so clearly convey the atmosphere of a light summer day by the great painter that you involuntarily want to add an umbrella from the sun and a bouquet of freshly picked roses.
According to critics, one gets the impression that such an ephemeral girl cannot walk - she can only flutter surrounded by her lace, chiffon feathers, and organza flowers. It is not surprising that absolutely everything in the cut of these air dresses emphasizes such an impression: shuttlecocks, wing-sleeves, numerous assemblies and skillful work with transparency.
Against the backdrop of a dreamy pastel palette, even a few dark ones, based on deep, almost black blue, suggest only warm summer twilight. No wonder it is here that Molinari generously uses sequins - this is really an evening, but the evening is stellar and promising in a summer way.
