Summer is the time for bright patterns on dresses, tops and accessories. Funny multi-colored stripes are incredibly relevant this season.
Tip: a vertical strip slender. So if you want, for example, to visually lengthen your legs, choose pants with a vertical arrangement of stripes.
Multi-colored stripes will help to give individuality to your things, if you draw, scribble or paste them with your own hands.
Add colors: draw strips
Textile paints will quickly turn a dress into a black and white strip or vest into a multi-colored "assorted".
You will need:
- Long top or dress in black and white or blue and white cross stripe
- Textile paints of violet, turquoise, yellow, black and bright pink colors
- Flat brushes of two different widths
- Cardboard
- Masking tape
- Scissors
- Marker
- Glass of water
- Pins
Step 1
Put the top on the cardboard, draw on the cardboard the silhouette of the top with 2 cm allowances.Step 2
Cut the silhouette and pull the top over it. Tilt the bottom edge of the top so that the strips are straight.Step 3
Paint the white strips in different colors, for which the edges of the strips of the top are covered with masking tape (stick it only on a dry cloth!).Tip: draw strips at the top and bottom - so the paint will dry out while you work with the next strip. Finally, fix the paint according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Stylish retro: customizable stripes
Multi-colored strips of jersey and sequin fabric will make the dark blue blouse more youthful and fashionable.

How to do
Step 1

Strip strips without intervals, first sew into blocks (seam width 5 mm, elastic seam). Iron allowances on one side. Then stick all the strips on in front of the blouseon.Sew all the long edges of the strips with an elastic seam to the edge. Sew the ends of the strips along the side seams and armholes, then cut off the allowances close to the stitches. Finally, wash the braid with sequins into strips.Wide bracelet
Enrich ordinary plastic with embroidery thread and rep ribbon!
You will need:
- Plastic bracelet
- Rep ribbon with a width equal to the width of the bracelet, 25 cm long
- Threads for embroidery in black, white, blue, red, purple and pink (you will wrap the bracelet with them) or the remains of rep ribbons of different colors and different widths
- Double sided tape
- Glue
How to do
Step 1
Tie the beginning of the embroidery thread on the bracelet with a knot, then thread the bracelet tightly around the thread, when changing the color on the back of the bracelet, simply knit the threads. Or stick on the bracelet the remains of multi-colored rep ribbons.Step 2
On a rep ribbon equal to the width of the bracelet, tuck one end inward, stick double-sided adhesive tape to the ribbon. Gradually removing the paper protective film, stick the rep tape on the inside of the bracelet, start gluing from the not tucked end, and glue the tucked end on top.As an advertisement.
